Community Funding

The Green Foundation looks to promote sustainable developments in the community through supporting organisations, groups and individuals. There is no restriction for unregistered organisations or groups to apply for a grant. DBS checks are required for the individuals in charge of the group or organisation. Grants will range from £100-£10,000 depending on what is needed. The Green Foundation supports equality and diversity, thus the funding does not discriminate and only considers what will benefit the community.

The Green Foundation Principles of Community Funding:

  • Projects must be achievable

    • Chosen projects must have manageable goals that can lead to a positive change

  • Funded projects must have the potential to effect long-lasting change

    • Projects must have a beneficial social or environmental impact that contributes to community building.

  • Provide grants to projects that would not be able to thrive without financial assistance

    • We want to give projects the best chance of success and assist individuals in beginning to make positive changes in their communities with much-needed funding
